24-year-old woman beats husband to death

In Harare, Zimbabwe, a 24-year-old wife named Talent Makonde is now in court facing murder charges. She was alleged to have sent her husband (names witheld) to the great beyond after the two of them had a domestic fight (sounds like a wild one to me o).

Two women, Temitope Abigeal and Temitope Remi, have been arraigned before a Chief Magistrate’s Court in Ebute Meta on a three count of conspiracy, assault and grievous harm.

Abigeal (26) and Remi (28), choristers at a Cherubim and Seraphim church at Ebute Meta, were alleged to have assaulted Hannah Okurabe (18) with razor blades at Abule Nla junction, a few metres away from the church.

The incident was said to be the result of an earlier fight over the church’s choirmaster, Joseph Unuigbe, a father of two. Joseph Unuigbe is married to a lady who is also a member of the same church.

Hannah is presently receiving treatment at the Lagos Island General Hospital, while Abigeal and Remi have been remanded in Kirikiri until they meet their bail terms.

Popular choreographer, born Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, and widely called Kaffy, has slammed fans for criticizing her nude photo.

The dance queen on Wednesday shared a photo of herself wearing only a pair of black lingerie, posing seductively.

She captioned the photo on her Instagram page as: “My body is my art. My canvas. My paintbrush. My instrument of expression.

Kaffy had also written: “I celebrate this body as it’s a testimony of God’s ingenuity. A production factory. An abode for passion. A chamber for motherhood. A masterpiece.

Soon after, fans threw tantrums at her saying she was dumb to associate her nudity with God under a charade of hiding her shameful act and ‘madness’.

One of her followers, @alexander.sandra wrote: “For God’s sake, people are so dumb. So it’s only dancers that expose their body. No one is begging anyone to join kaffy so she can train them. Nigerians please don’t judge a book by its cover. Look at them all forming saints while inside of them is as black as charcoal. That is why Nigeria can never move forward because whatever we do isn’t right, everyone must complain. Instead of judging people, pls get a job. Great job kaffy, nice body even after two kids. God bless you.”

Another follower, @saintyelnats@kaffydance wrote: “Truly My Sister, If you are truly convinced that dressing this way is a form of inspiration…Carry on!!! BUT PLEASE…Don’t associate it with God. Don’t say it’s testifying to the Glory of God. You Have No Basis For That And Shouldn’t Be Saying It. God Bless You.”

But the dance instructor who broke Guinness world record for the longest dance ever with a time of 52 hours and 3 minutes, in 2006, however, insisted her nude photos had nothing to do with the allegations from fans, but that she was only glorying God.
